Connie, Joe and Jemma have been to a day-long course in Oxford to train to be Anti-bullying Ambassadors. They worked with children from other schools, finding out about different forms of bullying. They represented our school fantastically, interacting with children they had never met before.
The Anti-bullying Ambassadors have since been meeting every week to discuss and prepare assemblies to share their knowledge with the rest of the school. The children have created a display board in the hall, and each week nominate a child that has shown respect to their peers.
The Anti-bullying Ambassadors proudly wear their badges, so they are recognisable in the playground as someone to approach if they have any issues. Our ambassadors know the steps they need to take to get help. The Hawk Owl and Eagle Owl classes will be completing a confidential bullying questionnaire that Oxfordshire County Council will collate and from which they will then share data results to help us inform our Anti-Bullying work in school.
