The family atmosphere of our school is highly valued and we aim to ensure that children, parents and staff feel that they can all make a worthwhile contribution to our team. Our vision is reflected through our curriculum as we aim to create a happy, purposeful and stimulating environment where each individual will be able to achieve the highest possible standards of educational, personal and spiritual development.

 

Great Milton C of E Primary School is a unique place because we value the uniqueness of the people in it. It is built on strong values — we not only teach children to the highest educational standards but we teach them about God, life, friendships, how to treat others and how to carry themselves through life as kind and thoughtful people.

SIAMS

We are very proud that Robin Sharples, from the Diocese of Oxford, recognised our distinctive Christian character during his SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection visit in June 2017:

 

'Everyone at Great Milton C of E Primary School has worked hard to ensure that the Christian ethos is integral to the life of the school. Governors and members of staff model the school’s values and teachers speak of love being "at the heart of all we do". This modelling is recognised by parents and the ethos is referred to as "family atmosphere with an added dimension".'
